Re: Personal Grooming

Ok I must be doing things wrong. I get my eyebrows threaded only if I need to. If there is some important event. And even then, if I don't have time for it, I don't bother. Its not like I have some crazy unibrow.

Other than that, I get a haircut maybe once every 6-8 months. And that costs 11 bucks.

I recently began spending on wax. I get like a bottle of wax, that I'm still using, and I bought it last year at some point.

I have a batch of razors that I've been using and prolly wont run out of for like another year or two.

Okay, so there is soap, shampoo, etc. I buy a liter of shampoo and it lasts me the year. I buy body wash that also lasts me the year.

And make-up, I buy sparingly. For every day wear, I'll buy cheaper brands, like neutrogena, avon, etc. For formal wear, I will have a lipstick or two that's nice.

I don't see how one needs to spend even 50 bucks for the month on this stuff.

Re: Personal Grooming

Seriously, u must be a hairy wool if ure razors will last you an entire year

Re: Personal Grooming

well if you get pedi/mani cure, fascial, etc from saloon every month, then it does costs $50.00+. Being a student obviously you don’t have much time and money for such things but once you are independent then you have more time and money ( ) for yourself.

Re: Personal Grooming

it all depends on what you get done. Then what brands of stuff you use. Some people are high maintenance some low.!

Re: Personal Grooming

my hubby is more high maintenance than me.....................

Re: Personal Grooming

Wouldn’t that make you the opposite? If I was a hairy wolf, I’d be going through a pack of razors per month.

I take care of my razors. You need to dry them and then put them in a dry place, so that they don’t rust. Plus, I use Gilette. The best a woman can get. :snooty:

Re: Personal Grooming

How many do u get at one tme ?? I get regular razors, venus is overrated :o

Re: Personal Grooming

Razors get dull after a few shaves anyway,so if ur shaving twice a week, then its a gud idea to replace em every two weeks..

Re: Personal Grooming

nothing!
i got laser hair removal done in.... ahem.... "certain areas" that typically needs maintenance every few weeks. grins I have been hairless for 2 yrs now!

I dont get my brows done...just clean up a few stray hairs which i do on my own. I wax my own legs which usually lasts me about 6 weeks. So i would say i spend approx $20 every 6 weeks for my personal grooming.
