Hazara (the people) are different as compared to Hazara (the province). Hazaras live mostly in Quetta and the surroundings, where as the demand of Hazara province is in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

interesting, so what race people of Hazara (KP) belong? Aren't there any Hazaras in KP when they are in abundance in Afghanistan?

^ Hmm, you can call them Punjabis and Pashtuns mixed, but they speak pahaRi, Hindko or Potohari language (closer to Punjabi).
I believe if Punjab is divided into Punjab, Potohar (North Punjab) and Seraiki provinces, Hazara should be made part of Potohar (as the people and language is the same). Hazara district includes Haripur, Abbotabad and Mansehra.
