There are way too many options now for food and takeout and hiring cooks at minimal wages (parttime)

Cooking is not necessarily a requirement.

As for making enough, that's all a state of mind. Sometimes very little can suffice if you are content with what you have, sometimes no matter how much you have can be enough if you are greedy.

Food for thought: The descendants of moghuls are now living in abject poverty in smaller areas in Lahore. Whereas these mannus and other multimillionaires in Pakistan are mostly self made first generation people.

Rizq is written in your kismet. You will get what's coming to you.
You can marry someone who's making "enough" and he can go bankrupt. You can marry someone of little money and his luck can suddenly change.

Do you guys think that the environment the person grows up in also has a part in it?
I do notice that ppl from europe or the US marry on a older age now a days.

I think the question really needs to be:

**Beyond what age is it unrealistic to expect good rishtas and when/at what age should parents and girls alike wake up and smell the coffee and be more proactive in looking for rishtas?

There is a growing trend in getting married later and later, and we have examples on GS itself of girls who are suffering because of delaying marriage. What age should marriage be taken seriously into consideration and when should active searching begin for both males/females?**

Well.. 20 years back ppl married when they just turned into a adult ( at 18/20)
Now a days...Ppl get married when they reach 30... Atleast that is what i see here.
Im not in Pak so i dont know how its going there.

Not necessarily that that happened twenty years back. I know of many friends of my parents who fall into that bracket and who married between 25-30. I think rather than timeline it is more dependant on families and their own customs and ideas.
