Is there pakhto there or is it pashto? I don't know but lot of the pashto I have heard seems very crude unlike punjabi.

Pakhto: Spoken in Pekhawar-Kabul axis. basically the north Pakhtun lands. Pashto: is stronger in the Quetta-Qandahar axis. southern Pakhtuns.
I am not here to start a dialect war but the southern (pashto) pronunciations sound sweeter to my ears, even though my family is from Mohmand.
Also lets not try to play the racial game of comparing Pakhto to Punjabi.

I know the difference but I was wondering which one it is.
It is always fun to watch when you tell a quetta pathan that peshawar ka asli pathan hota hai. You should then see him turn red and fume and give you an earful on how he is asly and peshawar is naqli!
