Where in the UK are you? A lot of Pakistani places (like travel agencies etc) offer these services although may be limited in which city you can send too. Bigger cities should be ok though.

They are cheaper than WU or MG. they will ask for you're address but that's just for security..and you'll need a passport if sending more than £3000

Post Office is fine, there are two options: signed for recorded, or standard. Price difference between the two is huge, £2 standard, £7 signed for recorded. Prices increase per extra 15g or so.

Use Signed for recorded if your sending cash. I sent 3 items with the following experiances: a birthday card non signed for and it arrived after 14 days, an Eid card non signed for and it never got there, a letter signed for and it arrived after 12 days.

Make sure you write the address correctly and clearly, and package the item simply but securly.
