Thanks for your help guys. I should have listed as what I’ve done already :bummer:

This is what I have already tried:

Run adwares/trojan detectors to see if there were viruses/trojans (removed whatever were there)

Re-installed OS, all the drivers for chipset, audio, ethernet

Lower the clocking factor to 8 (from 11). The processor is Athlon 2800.

I am heading to Fry’s Electronics today to get a new motherboard to see if that’ll help at all.
