Sadly, I observed similar trends on vast majority of hills around Abbottabad and Nathiagali during my last visit. Within the span of last ten years, locals have devoured forests at a record pace; a chilling fact. If nothing is done to replenish teh lost woods, I foresee a bleak future for these areas..
