patiala shalwars

Re: patiala shalwars

Same here lol

Re: patiala shalwars

They are not in fashion anymore, but that doesn't mean that you can't wear them. In fact I wore one to a wedding last week.

Re: patiala shalwars

am held up…lmao…:cb:…like i showed you a pik of my salwars that a heavy one…its got a slightly different shape and if you wear a kameez with small slits then the salwar sticks out from the side…just like the pik i posted…

are you on about patialas or heavy salwars…

Re: patiala shalwars

Patiala shalwars… i wear them when i’m in a ‘punjabi mood’… not very often …

Cos i’m pretty tall though, everyone takes the p*** outta me…it looks better on short girl :hinna:

I remember the first pair my aunt in pakistan sent over way back… it looked more like a ‘karhi shalwar’ cos the length was not right!

For regular wear, i prefer just a karhi shalwar style… no trousers/bell bottoms/capris bla bla…

Re: patiala shalwars

Wow -- that's a lot of ironing!

Re: patiala shalwars

^^^^yeppp its hard 2 iron.....

maroush wats 'karhi shalwar'.....

Re: patiala shalwars

Karhi meaning ‘stood’ or ‘stand’ in urdu … in shalwar terms meaning no slouchiness or too much bagging…small poncha also…

Have i just invented this term? :hmmm:

Re: patiala shalwars

No you havnt, I get what you mean. Its less poncha and non baggy.

I spent 3 hours trying to explain to my sister what I meant by Khari shalwar!

Re: patiala shalwars
