No straight trousers arent that bad.

Capri kinda come to your ankles a bit longer than the usual 3/4s and most have slits at the painchas

They might look okay while standing but when you sit it looks so weird and unstylish

The indian patiala shalwars r better than the pakistani ones. the pakistanis manage to make the paincha really small making it look dumb and feel uncomfortable, The indian ones look good provided ur tall and somewhat slim.

^^ yeh i agree but i think it depends where you are getting it made mine always come the way i want them i just send my tailors the pics of the stuff i want and they make them exactly same:D

I haven';t had one yet PK but my sister got this ready made one from pak which cmae with very small painchas and this past eid she got one fron an indian boutique here which is gorgeous, really really pretty.

so what kind of shalwars are in fashion right now in pakistan? are patyala's out, or are straight pants out, or is it just a regular shalwar?
its really hard to keep up-to-date in toronto... by the time we get whats trendy, its out of fashion!

air-conditioned coaches in old days...how did they do it?

patyalas are in these days with short shirts byt i prefer normal shalwars for every day use coz patyala looks nice occasionaly :)
and FF i said it depends where and who you are getting them made from its not that mine always come out nice but 99% yeh they come out nice i think it depends how you explain to them aswel
