As much as I agree to you about SOME Muslims feel joy when they hear those rumors. I cannot vouch as to who starts those rumors Muslims to feel good. Or Muslim haters who get fun out of thinking that they are fooling Muslims by spreading these rumors.
Some Muslims run with those rumors others like me try to find out the truth and work on controlling the damage these rumor cause to good name of a beautiful religion.
