Re: Parents keep child’s gender secret
A baby is born perfectly healthy. He has everything God can create in a human being. He is a he. Who are we then to define that he should be a she or whatever. (I’m not talking about transgendered because that’s a whole other issue). Gender is a truth. It’s the way you are born. What parents should do is not to box their kids in the stereotypical manner of the kid’s gender but teach them values and skills of both genders.
As a child grows up they see things in black and white. They automatically categorize things. So a boy will want to hang out with boys and girls with girls. Because that’s how they see things. Nothing wrong with that IMO. Both guys and girls also behave in separate manners when dealing with the same issue. But it should be the responsibility of the parents to not push them into a specific definition, but at the same time it’s ludicrous to raise a “gender-less” child. Children who are “gender-less” (children born with ambiguous external genitalia, intersex babies) are already in such a conundrum, I think what tehse parents are doing is highly insensitive to those kids.
If that kid grows up and decides that it wants to be “genderless” or it wants to be a boy or a girl, then that needs to be an adult decision, his own life-experience decision. Not something his parents have forced upon him.
You are wrong. Gender is not SEX…
SEX is biological gender is not…
I can discuss further but by your post I can tell you have no Knowlege of “socially driven concepts” so it will be a futile discussion.
