Careful what you wish for Palestinians, you might just get it.
Democracy is not linear.
Perhaps our Guppy comrades are so stunned they don't know what to say. Certainly armed Jihad is more fun if you are not responsible for cleaning up the mess. It's Hamas' mess now.
The Taliban II era should be interesting to watch...
