these laws were enacted by men.. with the introduction of more women in the legislative process we might see an improvement.
Whats really sad is that we need severe laws to deter people from committing an act so shameful..it's like having to enact a tought law for people who beat up their own mothers...

Shocking, disguisting and sad to see this exists in the Muslim world. What’s the point in calling yourself a Muslim when you’re going to hold on to your f*cked up culture.
These people who call themselves need to realise that Islam came as a mercy for mankind, to protect, the lives, honour and dignity of women.
It was Islam which first condemned and managed to stop the burying alive of baby girls, female infanticide and the selling of women and treating them as mere property, good for nothing but sex.
Things like this exist because people have left Islam, and are only Muslim by name, these are the signs of the last day.
Our Deen, Islam is perfect (kamil) but our faith (emaan) and actions (amaal) are imperfect.
The woman and her sons should be stoned to death.

I think it stems from the american society .... Long time ago there were riots in Alabama cause a black man consented to have sex with a white women, his whole family was torched …:(
