Going by the definition here gulgulay sounds like zeppoles…sounds good. Im not into desi snacks much but if I do have something, its samosa chaat..and its a meal for me not a snack :halo:

i ate gulgule in my childhood. my friends grandma made them

but my question is how do you make them..plz share recipe

^ lol timbits give TLK a tid. Never had gulgulay before but ive had timbits so that counts right? I like both sweet and savory snacks with chai.

CD, gulgulay dont exactly taste like timbits. Even the texture is different. Real gulgulay are made out of fermented dough so they have a tad bit of sourness to them. P

I vaguely remember my nani making something sweet that was fried…could’ve been gulgulay.Just love saying that word…gulgulay…gulgulay…:D…don’t think it tasted khameeri though.

Yes I’ve had saunf version, as well as the one with lots of khopra (shredded coconut)
