Pakistan's top judge is suspended (Merged)

Re: Pakistan's top judge is suspended (Merged)

If Musharraf had reinstated the Chief Justice he would be an unconstitutional president. The CJ MUST remain suspended, and can only be reinstated if the results of the inquiry prove that he has not acted improperly. Needless to say I think Musharraf has done more than any other Bhutto or Nawaz leadership ever did for Pakistan.

This fake commando thinks that democracy at the grass-root level cannot can be introduced unless you grab power through the barrel of a gun and induct the creme de la creme of corrupt politicians into your government. If democracy could flourish under the leadership of a military dictator sir, then Pakistan today would be one of the best democracy in this world.

Democracy was tried before, and look what happened. Bhutto and Sharif. It's clear reforms needed to be introduced before the next democratic elections, and he's made them. Musharraf already would have won the 2002 elections anyway.

Pakistani people don't deserve to be ruled by criminlas like BB or NS or ZAB or Chodhry bradrans and others of their ilks, but unfortunately the military rule is also not a viable substitute, the history has proved it time and time again...

Military rulers are what keep India at bay, they were involved in the creation of Pakistan, and of keeping it going, and more recently in Pakistan's economic success. Don't get me wrong, I hated Zia, he was a zealot. But Ayub Khan, Musharraf are progressive thinkers. People like them will bring Pakistan forward, not people like Bhutto and Sharif.
