Re: Pakistan's Brave Armed Forces..
On the issue, bar 1971 which was a shambless, the PA has never humiliated itself. We do not know the details of the recent 300 man surrender, nor do we know the conditions under which they surrendered.
Internal battles offer a completely different challange to external ones. Its quite possible that the troops of PA, or where they FC troops, do not wish to engage there fellow Pakistanis in battle, and to avoid bloodshed laid down there arms.
Is it possible that that batch of 300 were cowards, I accept that, but even in that case is not not mean all 500,000 men are. They have fought bravely each time they have been called upon, and yes 71 aside, they have done a fair job.
Please no one cite Kargil as all military analysis agrees that whilst it was a political disaster for Pakistan, owing to Nawaz's cowardice, militarily it was a success. The strategic advantage at the time of pull back was absolutely held by PA.
Amateurs. I wonder who amongst you has any background in strategic affairs to make such bold calls against a professional force.
