According to American Bone Marrow Association Indians and Pakistanis are similar. That is the reason they have been put in the same group for bone marrow transplants and Arabs have been put in a separate group. There are many more matches of bone marrow between all people from Indian Subcontinent. So biologically Indians and Pakistanis are similar.

Emotionally Pakistanis are more close to Arabs.

not really…just look how much hate paki posters showedagainst arabs, on some thread about a saudi raping a paki girl…

well i agree with the thread starter, punjabi (pak side), descent of mohajirs and sindhis are very close to punjabis (india side), gujarati, rajasthani, people from UP, MP and Dehli area…the most striking difference is religion, only muslims in pak, lots of hindu and also some sikhs in india, and muslims too;)…actually those area are “HIndustan”…and everyone in those areas speak indoaryans languages: punjabi, sindhi, rajastani, gujarati, maharastri, hindi/urdu (=hindustani)…
BUT people from NWFP/Balochistan and South indians are at odds…phyically and culturally!

frontiers of countries do NOT reflect the cultural closeness/differences;)!

for example a pashtoon from pak is closer to a pashtoon from afganistan then a paki from sindh…or a punjabi from india is closer to a punjabi from pak than to a tamil from india…and a tamil from india is closer to a tamil from sri lanka than to a bengali from india:clown:
