Ehem, i have a confession to make - I too eat my mango with a fork - its much easier to eat that way, no mess. Peel the whole mango, slice each side off, then the thin sides off the bone. Cut into cubes, place in a dish, pour over some cream and dig in with a fork!!! mmmmmmm. Shame the pakistani mango season is over...
Yeah, they do think that fast food places are the posh places there. I had to explain it to an english friend, she didnt understand it.

I have not been to a Pizza Hut in Pakistan but I have seen videos showing Pakistanis eating pizza with a knife and fork. What is up with thaté

Talking abt pizza, when i was in pk this summer i ate pizza in pizza hut in islmbd and i tought it was okayish not very, probably bcuz im used to eat here in Swe. but i liked the atmospehere around!

You know it's not the eating with a knife and a fork that bugs me bout pizza hut, it's the fact that people in pakistan get crazily dressed up to go to fast food places. You walk in MCD and people are dressed up like hell and the hut is a whole new story, dont even go there!!

These two are right answers I second with that sometimes with deep dish or messy pizza you do need a fork and knife.

Deep Dish Pizza is supposed to be eaten with a fork and knife, everything else is hands only, Pizza is 'street food' if you are at a Posh restaurant don't order Pizza, they are just overcharging people who never go to posh restaurants by putting something cheap that is familiar to them, so they can order (and then eat with their hands)

May be it was just a facetious point anyway, but I didn't get the link between eating pizza with fork-and-knife compared to eating payas, niharis and naan with fork-and-knife.
Forget burger families, about the only people whom I have seen eating rotis and naan with knife and fork are goras who don't know how to make *nivalay *with their bare hands. How is that comparable to eating pizzas?

When I was there, I don't think I saw a single person eating pizza with their hands (in public at least). It simply isn't done.
Personally, I use a knife & fork, even when I'm at home.
