Re: Pakistani Textile firms to relocate to Bangladesh- promised electricity and low t

The business people should be thankful that the PPP government under the guidance of the most benevolent and merciful Zardari Sahib has not yet nationalized and eaten up private industry for the benefit of Swiss banking system.

Re: Pakistani Textile firms to relocate to Bangladesh- promised electricity and low t

most of the industry that is being shifted is textile industry ,...it is then interesting to note , its the Punjabis who dominate the production side of textile industry , memons I thinkg dominate the distribution side of textile , ..and Punjabis are welcomed back by the Bengalis ....!!!!

Re: Pakistani Textile firms to relocate to Bangladesh- promised electricity and low t

Business people and a-little-loyal-to-country economic policy makers make decisions based on good business sense rather than ethnicity. Textile production requires uninterrupted energy, distribution does not.

Re: Pakistani Textile firms to relocate to Bangladesh- promised electricity and low t

kakaballi sahib I wanted to point out the irony , in the 71's perspective , out hyper media went overboard in blaming Punjabi army for the atrocities , ..where as the factual matter is , the first punjabi COAS was Asif Nawaz and the second is General Kiyani ....

yes during 71 , Niazi was in charge but merely obeying orders , yet still the blame was shifted to ONE ethnicity , perhaps because they swelled the cannon fodder ranks , rather foot soldiers ...

and today , we our self are destroying our own Industrial Base , ...and the ugly truth ..!!! .better not mention it ...

Re: Pakistani Textile firms to relocate to Bangladesh- promised electricity and low t

What about Zia ul Haq?

Re: Pakistani Textile firms to relocate to Bangladesh- promised electricity and low t

Zia ul Haq was an Arain , and yes some Arain do have large land holding in Punjab , also they live in punjab , but they are a multi-lingual caste , …and Zia was not there in 71 , he emerged on the scene in 77 .
Anjuman-e-Araian Pakistan, Karachi, Sindh

important point from this link is

1- they are not confined to punjab , but also in Sind , claim decendance from Rajputs

2- They tend to speak different languages, including but not limited to Urdu, Punjabi, Pothohari, Seraiki, Sindhi, Hindko, and Pushto depending on their place of residence.

Zia used to speak Urdu , but he was not ethnically Urdu speaking

Re: Pakistani Textile firms to relocate to Bangladesh- promised electricity and low t

i think government should first of all cut off all electricity and gas from the homes and offices of their jiala's then they should target others , leading by example bi kisi chirya ka naam hai ... then we will see ki jialo ka vote kis ko jata hai .. and if still they vote for the khatmal government , hum bi un khatmals ko vote ker dai gai bi :(

What about tikka khan or are we not including him because he has a pathan surname? :hmmm:

Actually, the most damage to the image of the army in e. bengal was probably done by tikka khan, after yaqub khan, lt. general azam khan and admiral ahsan’s recommendations were ignored by the west pakistani military elite.
