He is Saleem Safi, a journalist and TV anchor with Geo channel. The guy has plenty of links with Taliban, in fact he himself claims he gets phone calls from top Taliban leadership. One of the few mainstream anchors (along with Hamid Mir) that is in contact with TTP and other such groups.
