CIA is supporting TTP. It has a CIA base in Khost bordering Afghanistan where CIA handlers are based who run agents in FATA. US drones are only killing opponents of TTP. TTP is gaining strength each day. It is a fact that CIA is supporting terrorism in FATA. CIA drones have killed 3,500 people but only 2 TTP members.

That might be more to do with the fact that the TTP does not generally carry out attacks outside of Pakistan (with the exception of Camp Chapman), and therefore is not a significant threat to the US. The TTP opponents, by contrast, are generally involved in attacks within Afghanistan, challenging US interests.

KHYBER AGENCY: Eighteen bullet-riddled bodies have been recovered from the Alamgudar area of Bara Tehsil in Khyber Agency, local and tribal sources said.
The identity of the bodies is still unclear as officials have yet to confirm their exact number.
Intelligence sources told Dawn.Com that 18 bodies are lying in the area, including four Khasadars who were kidnapped by militants, one security personnel and a number of peace committee members.
“It seems the militants shot them dead and left their bodies there,” intelligence sources informed.
Local tribesmen say the dead include seven members of a family who had been shot to death.
