Who says that TTP and Taleban support each other? A lot of the people in TTP think that they are engaged in an Islamic struggle but don’t realise that their backers are foreign governments who want to just use them to further their own agendas.

TTP is present in NWA (strong hold of Afghan Taleban) as well as Eastern Afghanistan (Kunar and Nuristan etc). As far as TTP being foreign agents is concerned, if all schools of thought condemn them it will clear the air. When people are not even willing to condemn their tactics like suicide bombing, then what can I say? Unless I see or hear anything substantial, the claim of them being foreign agents seems a conspiracy theory to me. The ball is in the ulemas court as much as it is in the government’s. Why are the ulemas allowing a rouge group to abuse their names as well as Islam’s?
