I really really do want to support him because he's promoting desi music but for some reason this time around he didn't really do much of the actual dancing. it just looked like rhythmic walking :( and it was only for a few seconds.
If the judges move him ahead just based on his dance the second time around, it will prevent the really talented dancers from moving ahead and being recognized. Sorry, I feel bad for kasheef but they shouldn't give him false hope like that.

I dont think people are being critical just because its desi. Its more so the look/wardrobe/performance. yes he had guts to perform, but it wasn't exactly a great performance. Now if one of those backup bollywood dancers auditioned, then maybe there would be some substance. It was just a good laugh. He doesn't exactly really know how to dance.... come on now

^In Sanjaya's case even if he wasn't that good of a singer the American people were voting for him going against everything the judges were saying but with Kasheef the judges are the ones voting in favor of him right? Or has it turned over to public voting now? I really haven't watched many episodes of this show.

^^ I don't know how the show works I've never watched it except these Kashif clips on youtube.. The judges can be voting just on the direction of the producers of the show.. these kind of jokers are good for ratings.. even if they seriously like his dancing purely based on is uniqueness.. its definitely not the right way to promote desi music in western media.. punjabi MC jay z timbaland and jay sean ... Thats how you promote desi music... not some fob dressed up like a dork dancing like a retard lol
