although you’re right, i guess i’ve only gotten pervy stares from desis i don’t know. people that are strangers from a distance where conversation hasn’t taken place. and that’s why i associate pervy stare as that. this is somebody i know personally and am close with, one that i’m actually conversing with, don’t we see whether a person is charming when we actually speak with them, look into their eyes?
it was a total generalization on my part, maybe it’s just a few like that
Nisha merai bare mein likhna tha tu message kar detein. Lekin pher bhi..gharoor nam ki koi cheez nahi hai hamain. Now look at my signature and what do you like coffee or tea???
in the nonvirtual world, I've personally observed that some/most/few(take your pick of the adjective you feel to be right based on your experience) pakistani men in particular not a general desi man trait mind you, have this natural charm or have the ability to capture a woman's attention for several seconds with a single look.
can i say though as a nonmuslim and a nonpakistani, a personal observation, i'd say most pakistani muslim men are respectful towards women, even if they cross that line when it comes to respect, they usually step back and realize what they've done wrong, especially when someone points out their mistake, there is no great anger. have to give them credit for that. that's how i've seen my friends to be. there is a difference
I think Pakistani guys are generally very nice and respectful except for some jerks. I would agree with the charming part too but that's a turn off for me, i despise extra sweetness in people.
