Depends how and which qualities you do compare...
There are categories to compare...
Education and goals
Manner and Behavior
Religion and correct knowledge
Smartness and sharpness
etc...
I prefer Pakistani kids better over abroad-abadi kids, but some times vice versa as well... depends... but no one is angel these days hoonh
in the end it all depends on families.
whether in east or west, ppl dont realize that just having paisa does not get ppl tor tareeqay..rakh rakhao... tameez tehzeeb...
the caricatures we see as burgers in pakistan or some major wannabes in the west is because while they got material success compared to their clan that was it plus woh kehtay hain na kawa chal hans ki chaal apni chaal bhi bhool gaya.
although most ppl in Pakistan only look at the 'westernised' ppl and laugh at them, and not at the 'bollywoodised' ppl.

From what I know kids who grow up in Pakistan are much more clever and devious than pakistani kids who grow up outside Pakistan

street smarts, maybe
but i think the comparison is wrong, ppl are not comparing alike groups
u cant compare someone who grew up in korangi with some kid growing up in some posh burb in virginia, if u compare some pampered kid from DHS to the kid in virginia burbs thats a more apt description.
and when it comes to street smarts when you compare someone from korangi with someone from the eastend, then you may see that they are similar in street smarts.
