These lots of desi fashion groups on Facebook, but after you’ve looked through them once, you’re done, coz they hardly ever get updated with new pictures. Thats why I like your group Maria, you are always adding new pictures! Keep it up!

thanks!! I have accepted any requests that came in so please do come on in to see the pics, and I know its MAD annoying to have to send a request before joining but its only becuase users started complaining about their pics being taken and whatnot and being put in other groups...so since I know the particular person taking the pictures...I can keep a tab on them this way, I just deny their requests :D

aww thanks!! that means a lot to me, honestly...I just want people to REALLY see pakistani fashion for what it is...its HUGE now, so it helps to let people know about it at all times and keep them updated.

Sad hobby...girl it's freakin awesome! Since I've been on GS I've learned about sooo many designers...when I got to a party/gt/wedding I'm unconciously going ...oh that's a Sobia Nazir knock-off and everyone else is like uhhh...
Anyways it's good to know what's in and what's out as long as you are into buying desi clothes. Living abroad it's hard to keep up...and if you've got the money to pay for it...then why not!

anyways she has done some amazing this on an international level that I think Pakistani’s SHOULD know about…i’m suprised that I didnt since she is extreamly popular in India/Pakistan
Amina Haq has had more international exposure. She was one of the first Asian women to be on the cover of vogue and the first from the subcontinent to be on vogue
She starred in three Canadian commercials when no model from India or Pakistan had dreamed of such exposure
She is the ambassador for Levis Jeans which is a American company
she is the ambassador for Diplex Smile Again which is a Italian Charity
she had walked the runway for many famous designers such as Dior, Gaultier, Versace etc
