what was surpising to me is that everyone is selcting between Pakistani dramas on one side and Indian films AND dramas on the other: that is not right, you should compare Pakistani films AND dramas to indian films AND dramas. then, I think i would go for indian films and dramas.
How dark the world may seem, just one ray of light is enough to brake the darkness
EVERYBODY and thier mamma's know Pakistani dramas are the best. Of course time is an issue but a drama offers the viewers so much more than a movie. There are so many subplots, themes and there's even a moral to the story. NOT SO IN INDIAN MOVIES.
I know a lot of Indian people that prefer watching Pakistani Dramas VS. Indian movies.
To be honest, I wasn't a fan of dramas till a few years ago and now I'm hooked. I'm like that housewife, that loves to sit at home, eat bon-bons and watch soap opera's (well not really - just exaggerated to make a point)
Actually i did...in the beginning i found them interesting but after watching a few i found all of them pretty much the same very limited sets and very similar dialogues. I have not watched one for a long time.
I like some of the Indian dramas very good dialogues, and interesting story lines and good direction.
PAKiSTANI DRAMA’s having taken the lead.. but i want all of you to keep voting if you read this!
MY POINT IS THAT… INDIAN FILMS will always take the lead when compared against Lollywood(face it, there movies are way to good and our movies still look as if they were made in the 60’s) In INDIA Pakistani drama’s are watched; just as we watch Indian movies (Pakistanis)
BUT PTV Drama’s WiLL ALWAYS, and i mean ALWAYS take the lead when compared with Indian Dramas/films… and our dramas are watched around the world as the movies are.. THEY ARE MORE REALISTIC, and real life kinda stories..

There goes another piece of bull****.
Let me tell u , a few (and only very few ) Indians ever watched your Paki Dramas in the days when there was only Doordarshan with its fixed quota of stale soap-operas. Now Indians have too much of their own media broadside to contend with to ever consider thinking about Pakistani "Nataks" (which have good content sometimes but pretty boring and outdated presentation).
Have your Dramas all to yourselves...THANKS !!

well pakistani drama's are good but they tend to be repeatitive and are of same subject again and again but pakistani tv still has kept some moral values .though indian dramas have improved of late , esp koshish .
among the pakistani dramasmy current favorite is family front
pakistanis need to spice up thier drama's a bit or else they would appear stale after some time
as far as indian movies are concerned they are good and esp movies by "yash johar"and
rajshree " i hate mahesh bhatts movies they are all copied from the west i saw kasoor it was shamelessly copied from "jagged pill"
criminal was copied from fugitive and so on
.

???
pakistani drama -vs- indian moviez…
wht a joke…
their moviez are just terrible..no storiez..no acting..no nothing…copying western moviez…copying their style…copying everything…in music they have lost all the talent…can’t write good lyricz..can’t compose a decent song…nudity is all they have to offer…losing their moral and social valuez…
i do agree that pakistani dramaz are somehow the same…they need change and fast…but on the positive side…they do have some moral and social valuez to show…they do have some real acpectz of life..
