good dramas still exist, im watching 'gulzar classics' on ary these days and the stories are brilliant, relating to the 'real' world with in-depth characters, relying on the plot rather than fancy sets. since there are so many channels, good dramas get lost in the maze, pehlay there was 1 channel with a fixed time for programmes and we watched them with undivided attention, now we don;t have the patience to follow a serial, aik boring scene aya and we switch channels. classics like 'din' and 'kushkol' had some dragging scenes too but since switching channels wasnt an option we sat through it, if it was running these days, we would not patiently sit through the entire episode...our limited attention span is to blame as well !!
