Madhaanee yaar, you have described it very eloquently. I think the true beauty of Multan is in all these places, and perhaps it's a special place for you due to all the fond memories. But, to me Multan has always been special due the richness of Saraikee heritage and unique culture. The mindset; the attitude; is inherently different from the rest of Punjab. It's more agrarian, laid back. yet very spirited and just the sweetness, and simply the beauty of the language itself influences me more than anything. Of course the antiquated nature of the city is magnificent in its own way.
Arvind, yah multani food is to die for..but you need an equally great cook to complement it; like my mam. And falouda is yummyyyy..anytime you are in Multan, be our guest :)
