Some of the places to see if you are going there for the first time are Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Fort, Old City Shrine of Data Ghanj Bukhsh, Anarkani Bazaar, Liberty, Fortress, Wazir Khan's Mosque, National Museum, Sikh monument, Minar -e-Pakistan, the mausoleum of Jahangir, Noor Jahan and Asif Khan, Shalimar Garden, Jallo National Park, Chhanga Manga Forest. Lahore is famous for its foods and its people alongwith historical places ofcourse. The people here are generally simple, fun loving and accepting. The foods are just great, yes its heavy sometimes:D but its still yummy.
The problems Lahore is facing are ocmmon to every big city of the month. i.e. mis management, pollution and what not. But thats part and parcel of life in every big city (specially in subcontinent)

Lahore is just so much fun. Everytime I go I have alot of fun. Certainly, one of Pakistan's best cities. What I like most is that during the night, you see so many people outside n having a good time with their families.
I actually wrote an article on Lahore, you might like reading it. It explains a bit of history and a very brief info about the city.

Currently the backbone router has some problem with routing so the conneciton is not coming in. Please wait & hopefully the problem will be resolved soon. I can ssh into the SERVER but for some reason the traffic on port 80 is not responding.

Does anyone know how is it in Lahore these days as far as the weather is concerned. Is it real hot n muggy or just hot or just spring like pleasant?
I might be visiting lahore in the next few days and want to be prepared, at least mentaly, what to expect from weather.
The temperature reading (from websites) does not tell the whole story.
