Agree. I’m not saying that it can’t work if you’ve been brought up in a more western environment and marry someone who has been brought up in Pak (it can and has worked), but there may be greater obstacles to overcome. This also depends upon where in Pakistan the individual grew up (more developed/modern cities versus the less developed) and family background, etc.
It’s less stressful if you marry someone with similar upbringhing.
