High-level team to visit Palestine

Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said on Thursday that President Pervez Musharraf had accepted a request by Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas to send a high-level delegation of intellectuals to Palestine. The visiting delegation would also include ulema, he said and added the Palestinian leader had made the request during his meeting with President Musharraf. The proposed delegation would visit Palestine and Bait-ul-Maqdas, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said.—APP

I think Pakistan is not in a position to help resolve this issue.Though they can try,…How Pakistan can talk to Isreal( Other Party), if Pakistan doesn’'t even recognise it yet ?

Yasir Arafat missed an historical opportunity during Bill Clinton time. He was offered more authority over city of Jerusalem by Ehud Barak then PM of Isreal…But instead of giving a counter offer…he ( Yasir Arafat ) walked away…which later on he wanted to accept in 2001 or 2002…but it was too late then.
