Some Generals (i.e. army officers) and their families have managed to make a lot of money out of the way, but same is true for politicians, bureaucrats and every body else. It is not very uncommon to find such people from every aspect of life in Pakistan. Putting it all on one group (army, politicians…) is not a good practice. The list of the rich is always based on their known finances and their properties (land, industrial units, organizations…). Many politicians are said to have foreign bank accounts and properties, but they cannot top the list with rumors.
all of your posts are punjabi, sindhi, pashtoon and God knows what i lose track because i am beginning to skim , get over yourself, this is the most retarded approach and leads to a very unhappy mentality. Allah aap kp aql day
Even if they (Ijaz and Humayon) have accepted their wealth, it is not enough to buy a few units owned by "Mian Mansha".
"Varan", the famous urban transport service operating in Rawalpindi and Islamabad was owned by a close relative of Gen. Hameed Gul. They were supported by the Government (as are all urban transports supported). People believed that it might be one of the biggest urban transport services, but it was not even a mediocre. Even an average transport company in Pakistan has more vehicles and man-power available to them than "Varan". All transporters have powerful links in government and bureaucracy.
One can easily question that how a grade-22 officer or a middle-class politician can manage to run such a service or how they have managed to collect such amounts of money, but they cannot be said to be amongst the richest.
