Misbah-ul-Haq: “It was a match-winning innings, they won the first three and a half days, that is the help you have when you have a senior like him, he changed the game. We need lot of improvements, played a Test after a long time, they made us work hard, we need to be on the money from the start. First two days we were left behind, we do not want to do this again and again. They are a really, really improving side.”

Younis the saviour rightly named man of the match. Well done to Ajmal (for his 11/118 in the match), Junaid, Misbah, Azhar and esp. Adnan but Younis was the architect of this 221-run win

However as Misbah said in post match interview, that the team really needs to dig down deep to not repeat this in the 2nd test which is ....again at Harare....

Misbah should admit that Hafeez does not belong in tests (or atleast tell him this harsh truth privately)
Selectors need to explain why they dropped Taufeeq for no reason.
Taufeeq-Jamshed is the best test opening combo imo right now
Khurram hasn't looked the part so far

Completely agree both on Hafeez’s inclusion and Taufeeq’s exclusion.
Comparing Jamshed, Taufeeq, Hafeez, Manzoor and let me drag in Farhat as well since he was also used in the not so long ago past for opening slot in tests, Only Taufeeq stands out, and perhaps Jamshed and Manzoor right after. So who’s car did Taufeeq not wash in his spare time to get dropped?
