When we consider the position they were in, YES. But a better team might have fancied 280+ on this pitch. So 241 is not too bad at all.

Kaneria is definitely a good leg spinner for Tests, but Afridi is at least as much if not MORE effective than him in ODIs, with some batting and fielding talent to boot. So hopefully it will be Kaneria who'll make room for Afridi once he has served his ban.

Don't know about Rana. Just what do you do with him. I certainly don't see him getting picked over Rao anymore, and Sami isn't any better than Rana. Maybe he'll get to play one more game.
