I don't thiink that they needed to promote afridi up the order. We have plenty of time to give WI a fighting target. Afridi is more feasible in situations like the one we had at banglore wth less than 2 days to go

and why is that? There is plenty of time left in the match, not that w have to score quickly like we had to agaisnt India.
Masha’allah nice start. Best of the series for pakistan. Yes Windies bowlers helped but still they had to put away the bad balls and they did.

with these 2 guys doing well so far Alhumdulillah, i'd like to keep afridi as a trump towards the end...to give a quick boost of runs if it comes down to pak declaring...hopefully they'll do well enuf that they won't be all out and choose to declare :D

I remember WI was on 364 with 13 extras from PAK and glad to notice they did not give away any more extras.
On the other hand in this PAK Inning 63 scored and already 9 extras conceded by WI,
its a good omen, shows howmuch strain and Pressure the WI bowlers are under, Malik should go ahead an do what he failed to do in the 1st inning, ie score a 100.
Right now looks like he is scoring, but also seems to be struggling.
