Desimunda,this edward guy is quite young and very fast indeed. It seems he has the
potential for another notch or 2 in speed. He’s is short and thus a ‘slidder’ . batsmen needs to be aware of that. Shares the bowling sytle with Shoiab’s sling shots.

He has a very round arm action, sort of like Malinga of Sri Lanka. He gets the ball to swing away from right-handers, and is hard to pick up because of his action and speed.

He wasn’t comfortable playing Fidel… I think this Test is his only chance, now half chance is gone, he has to do something in 2nd inning to gain some respect.

Watching yesterday's highlights, did anyone notice how Shabbir has a major kink in his action? It seems pretty obvious that he's throwing the ball. Don't know what the umpires will say, but he difinitely looks suspect to me. And he's one bowler whose action should have been pretty clean because he's 6 ft 6, and doesn't need to jerrk the ball to make it go faster.

Shabir needs classes to fix his action. Good bowler but ugly action... thank GOD we aren't playing in australia or india.
