some people are okay with losing as long as the inning contains a six or two and a 4 or two and strike rate is 90-100+
and some ppl are ok with strike rate of 20 that too in ODI's

let me rephrase, why hold him to a higher standard and expect him to perform regularly with the bat too. the rationale for putting him forward ahead of batsmen is he sometimes/occasionally fires. that is a quibble on strategy. it does not mean we change the standards by which a player in the 11 will be judged.
