That is precisely what he attempted to do 1st ball. :D
Though do believe Hafeez was the strongest of contenders for the man of the match award after the 30 odd runs scored and the 2 scalps he had, but guess that could always come for later.
Massive win by the greens nonetheless. Hope they don't look back and go on performing throughout the series. I'A.
p.s. Also hoping Azhar isn't replaced by the parchi (Farhat) in the next one. And, Umar Akmal looked in sublime touch!

In the absence of Nasir Jamshed, Hafeez and Ahmed Shehzad would have formed a more explosive opening pair
Azhar Ali isn't really a limited overs batsman. They will ruin his test career like this. Opening with a test number 3, only our team can do that. Younis should also retire from ODIs IMO

Misbah played very solidly to avoid us a batting collapse. The runout was silly though; there was never a single there
shows the importance of having 1 or 2 good stabilizers in your limited overs side
