I think any realistic chances of the run chase have gone with Taufeeq. Inzi not looking too positive against Peterson's left arm spin which is a surprise and Kamal's game is cautious to begin with.
These two should make sure they are around to see off the 2nd new ball after 80 overs.

Tea time. So will Pakistan go for 4.6 after tea?? I would love to see them go for it and play possitive cricket but I doubt they will go for it.
Haysman + Jones critisizing Pak's aim to draw this to win the series .... he thinks PAK should aim to win every test instead aiming for boring draws once u r in front with 1 test win or so ..... according to him it'll have an impact on the finacial part of the game benefiting PAK-Cricket
I think we have played more positive cricket here than SA. Dean Jones is complaining that we haven't gone all out for the win but then SA batted too slowly before declaring yesterday IMO. They need the win we don't and in our shoes they would do exactly the same thing.
The fact is if we weren't running out of time we would win this match and that with a seriously weakened team is like a victory in itself.

I think PAK may try to pull a victory here one they can get the next 18 -20 overs to pass by without losing any wicket and adding some 3+ runs an over or so ..... because SA will have to go into a more attacking mode to get the desired wickets ..... keeping this in mind there will be gaps in the fielding to score more freely ...... but such things will be possible if u keep ur wickets intact

Safety should be our first concern. We don't want to lose the test by trying to win and losing quick wickets. The first and foremost aim is to win the series, not to pander to the wishes of messrs Jones and Haysman. If we draw the match and win the series it will be a great acheivement as we went into this test with a very weak bowling attack and held our own against the SA batting line up.
So come on Pakistan bat the overs out and who knows we might even win if we keep the wickets intact.
I think if we cross 200 with only 3 wickets down than the team might set their eyes on victory and start batting accordingly.
