Pakistan in trouble a bit. SA already lead by some 70 runs. Hope our bowlers take control.

InshaAllah!
And thanks for your PM...up is Pak victory on late tuesday...I will not be on the GS KK...because I have to work...so you take the control to guide Pakistan team... :)
Pak bowling on day-3:
Bowling O M R W
Shabbir Ahmed 11 3 23 1 (1nb, 2w)
Abdul Razzaq 4 1 25 0
Danish Kaneria 10 1 36 1
Shoaib Malik 11 4 21 1
Mushtaq Ahmed 8 3 32 0 (1nb)
Mushtaq and Razzaq need to be more economical and should wickets...
Shabbir, Danish and Malik should continue the cruise... :)
Lets see how soon Pakistan can get all of SA batsmen. If SA get a lead of 200+ then Pakistan will have to play to save the game rather than winning it. Great bowling display by SA specially by Pollock.
Moin (AS USUAL) missed 2 chances. He dropped a difficult one of Smith when he was at 0 and then missed a easy stump of smith again when smith was at 21. Smith then went on to make 65 and was the part of 3 partnerships. This is why Rashid is SO BETTER than moin.
Oh and well played Razzaq and shabbir. Razzaq is returning to his form (at least in batting department).

I don't know whether you watched it or not, but first of all it was never a stumping chance, Smith's foot was firmly in the crease all the time and secondly it was a very difficult take as the ball jumped up quite nastily. Overall I agree, his keeping has left a lot to be desired. Rashid might be a better keeper but in the recent ODI's his wicket keeping was no better than what Moin is doing now. We need a new keeper.

dont realy think razaaq is returning to form, its just the kindaa situation he knows how to bat, he had to hit out and he did that...if he were to get out earlier he would have said "there were not many wickets left and we needed quns so thats why i was playing the way i played" ....It was a win win situation for him as far as Replying to his batting crictics was concern

I still think that he is returning to form and i am saying that on the basis of his batting in last 2 ODIs and now this test match. His inning was chance less (at least what i watched. I missed Pakistan's inning after lunch) and he was timming the ball sweetly.

Yeah i sure do agree with you on the fact that we need a new keeper and best time to test one was in the absense of Rashid, instead of calling the moin back.

I have to say if South Africa get anything out of this series they owe it entirely to Shaun Pollock - ain't he simply the best? - and perhaps they(UCBSA) should show their gratitude by reinstating Shaun Pollock as captain - wouldn't y'all agree?
Pakistan had a good chance giving the best lead they could have but they blew it - Gary Kirsten is still on the crease - Mark Boucher and Shaun Pollock still yet come - if Pakistan bowlers couldn't get the Proteas in trouble i see target around 250-300 runs - Pakistan should go ahead tomorrow - starts Day 4 with Danesh Kaneria and Mushtaq Ahmed.
May the best team wins!

He surely is the best but he is perofrming really well without the burden of captaincy. Let him enojy his cricket. Smith is doing OK for them at the moment. I dont think they are going to think about a change right now. They are not Pakistan.
South Africa is definitely on top now... it would take a herculean effort from pak to get back into this match. Just hope and pray that taufeeq and imran get another century opening partnership. If SA start loosing wickets, they will surely go for quick runs, and out of form spinners like mushtaq could come in for quite a stick. I feel that it would again come down to Inzamam in the fourth inning, and if he performs the way he did against Bangladesh, we may be able to pull it off.
Regardless of a brilliant comeback from Pollock and co, Pakistan still has the edge.
The only threatning batsman left is Kirsten, and the others are just pushovers, maybe Boucher will put up some fight.
South Africa lead by 70 odd runs with 3 wickets gone, so its basically 70/3, and Pakistanis should be happy about that.
yaar any of you watching the broadcast??
anyone broadcasting,,,,
rozaydaaron ki madad kar kay sawab kamao.
u just wake up and that 70/3 (according to umair) turns in to 111/3....
we need kirsten back in the pavillion and we need it fast....
I hope the wicket holds up by the time 2nd inning for Pak starts as it seems that our team will have to chase a sizeable total.
Go the mean green machine! ![]()
Danish karday Saazish
Shabbir badalday Taqdir
Taufeeq drops a chance in the slips off Danny ![]()
where the hell are all the Green Machine supporters today? Why do i have to suffer alone ![]()
we r all suffering.. dont worry… some of us r quite sufferer though… which is actually more painful..
