There are two possible logics behinds Pakistan's slow run rate (RR: 2.71):
1) They want to tire South Africans out.
2) The pitch is not suited for shot making.

it will be interesting when Kaneria and Mushie come out to ball....looking at the way Adams picked up wickets, i believe the pitch is offering a great amount of turn...
Ok well batted Pakistan, a lead of 81 is not too bad at all. Moin and Mushy bailed us out with a crucial partnership. We are set up for a nail-biting test match.
I maintain it was a dumb decision to send Shoaib ahead of Sami because of the style of play and shot selection. Sami got out trying to do the right thing, Shoaib got out trying to slog. When you have Moin at one end, why try and be a hero? Sami is a far better player defensively, ok he was out quick today but that can happen to anyone. As a captain and Manager you have to put some thought into these things, every partnership is crucial.
Has anyone of you realised why we lost the one-day series to South Africa?
well, IT was coz of the terrorists.
Had the series not been started late, there would’ve been only 3 ODIs as per schedule, and Pakistan would’ve taken the series 2-1. Kaisa?

I think the pitch is scorable as SA scored fast but also lost wickets quickly...our batters were over-cautious and thus a lower RR...
The other reason is why SA make runs faster because we have extra oridinary fast bowlers...so I think, Youhana should apply more spin...
