Rahat Ali to Amla, OUT, no doubts about this one! This is a loose drive, Rahat angles it across him and Amla was half forward for the cover drive, didn't use his feet much and was pushing at it, he gets a thick outside edge to Sarfraz

Rahat Ali to Elgar, OUT, Elgar's been given out lbw and he is reviewing it. This came back in a bit from outside off, Elgar was trapped at the crease and it hit his back leg, no inside edge, at normal speed he looked in trouble and Bowden didn't take long to give him out. boring series so to speak... weird team selection throughout the series ... plus pakistan fast bowling being a complete disappointment on these bouncy pitches.....i have no idea what exactly happened to junaid to miss this important series...i mean he was not injured in the game..so what was he doing that he got injured so badly...that was a big blow....
i have not seen the match .... so not sure of ehsan adil...is he any good? thx

i agree....concept of tailenders now only apply to pakistan or maybe india......
and that is why i appreciate waqar younis so much...he used to get them out in a minute.....now pak struggles so much to get them out

Pakistan struggles with everything now PD....batting, bowling....fielding is a little better than yesteryears otherwise....this is the new Pakistan....Its a good no. 4 side in Tests...but that is about it. We don't have exceptional players anymore who could turn the game around alone...except maybe for Saeed Ajmal. However a first days pitch won't be to his liking under normal conditions.
Lets see how this docile pitch turns into fast and furious once Pakistan comes out to bat. Philander will have his tail up after getting a 50 and Steyn will be at his best.

South African score already looking ominous for Pakistan
If they do go on to make 450 in the first innings, they might not need to bat again in this test
barring a much improved performance with the bat, I predict 3-0

Don't predict.....
Pakistan batting ......Hafeez and Nasir can point to SA openers to get out early...together if they can contribute 50...then that will be a miracle..
and then it will be all upto Azhar, Asad, Younis and ofcourse Misbah. So 4 Pakistan batsmen can't get 300 let alone 400....its too much to ask...specially when they haven't all hit form together...
expect a 200-250 fold.
I would love to be surprised!
