Shoaib Malik should be tried as an opener since he has more patience than any of the opening options we have and can provide a solid start, he also learns from his mistakes

Shoaib Malik has been tried as an opener before. I am not a big fan of him and let's hope he proves me wrong, but he's not suited to be an ODI player.

I think they are playing fine, wicket is not as easy as it was predicted. Even though SA bowling good line and length. Its not easy to hit out.
