Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

no we r not indians…:halo:

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

if SA gets to play only 20 overs what would be the revised target??

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

^^ Is it still sucking... :D

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

Lets hope for a full 50 overs game. 250 is a decent score to defend, even with rain. Grip will be an issue but under the lights with heavy and slow out field, it should be a well contested match.

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

South Africa have their work cut out for them. SLOG from the very first ball. Inzi should devise a plan keeping that in mind.

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

SA can treat this as a 20/20 game, and our bowling isn't exactly at its best. The only upside from this for Pakistan is that a few quick wickets down for SA can tilt D/L method in Pak's favor.

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

SA 9 runs with loss of 3 wickets.

afridi coming next

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

^lol in our dreams perhaps.

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

Any site to do the actual D/L Par score SA may need if their innings is cut short (which is very likely) ????

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

still raining?

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

play starting in 7 minutes :)

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

^^and any modification to the score or overs?

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

So according to my understanding (whcih could be false)

IF SA innings is of 30 overs, SA need 190 Runs to win and 189 Run is tie ( 77.1% resources )
IF SA innings is of 25 overs, SA need 169 Runs to win and 168 Run is tie ( 68.7% resources )
IF SA innings is of 20 overs, SA need 145 Runs to win and 144 Run is tie ( 58.9% resources )

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

The official time for the match to end is 10:15 PM local time, whereas right now it is 8:30 over there. We need to have enough time to bowl 20 overs otherwise no result.
I don't think there is time left for 30 overs or even 25 overs.

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

CRICINFO UPDATE

Rain has stopped but the outfield is not dry yet. Inzamam is out there with the umpires. So is Bob Woolmer. Both don't look too happy with the outfield. Can't risk a injury with World Cup just around the bend.

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

So i guess rain is the winner tonight

Wonderful knock from Yousaf once again and well supported by Malik

Off to the next one

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

20.41 local time No rain but it's still pretty wet out there. The officials are in a huddle. Rudi runs his right hand on the grass. Wet. Shake of head. Bit of wind is blowing. More wait in store for us.

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007

Re: Pakistan vs South Africa, 3rd ODI, Feb 09, 2007
