You are not looking at everything suspiciously rather you are exposed to Pakistani leaders reality little too much. If there is 1.5 billions dollars money at stake then no wonder if some Generals including Musharaf might have put some money on higher bidding side, and in that scenario for making money he/or any leader could do anything.
