well first strategic move by whatmore backfired big time....playing wahab over rehman...but this is what the game is...i can see why he preferred wahab..he bowled well against india last time...plus leftie fast would bring some diversification...but boy wahab completely collapsed.....that is it for him in international cricket.....at least for some time....and trust me i am not being emotional...i heard that he was not focusing on cricket in last few months....plus in pakistani cricket, I have seen so many bowlers bowling bad in crucial matches and disappearing..saleem jaffer is the prime example...so BYE BYE WAHAB...
What a disgraceful bowling attack. Why did not Misbah use the other fast bowler left? No strategy at all. Well played by India. I hope this is a lesson for the final for Pakistan team.
I thought Pak bowled reasonably well compared to India.
Although 329 was a jolly good effort by our batsmen, I think we did not bat that well (batters mistakenly thought that they had enough and did not show enough urgency in those last overs) in the last 8-10 overs of the innings, there weren't many big hits or boundaries. should have got 350+ but the way India batted today even that might not have been enough
Bowling in general was awful (Ajmal is exempt from blame). Throwing was inaccurate (missed 2 or 3 runouts) and needs improvement
1) when umesh yadav and zaheer are injured, indian batsmen need to be ready to chase anywhere between 350-500 runs
2) india can now afford to lose all senior batting stars on the roster. who would've thought that sehwag/yuvraj/tendulkar/dravid can all disappear without any negative impact whatsoever?
3) shocking to see how far wahab riaz has fallen. sad stuff.
Well we done it again.
On our good day no score is too big for us. especially when we lose early wickets. this is far departure from the Indian team that used to be just 4 years ago.
Well played Pakistan, bad luck for you as it was our day.
