That lbw decision was appalling, how can umpires get away with this? It's understandable that umpires make mistakes but Pakistan somehow is always on the receiving end.
Hopefully our think tank will have a better strategy in mind for drawing the game because the winning one apparently never even surfaced.

Look at the difference, yesterday our batsmen were struggling on this very pitch and today the English batsmen are enjoying themselves, even Bell .... Says it all.
England 500 plus on board looks possible. :(

Things do not look good. Multan wicket requires application, patience both in batting and bowling. English bowlers kept bowling in the corridor and batsmen are playing to stay there for the longrun.

Yeah…yesterday people thought that Pakistan will surpass 500 total…which did not happen…

it was flintoff who really allowed england to be in this position... he has performed tremendously well with ball and bat over 18 months... he has become england's Agarkar

Not just that but the England have a different attitude. Ramiz Raja made a good point about the English batsmen smiling and enjoying their batting. In contrast our batsmen were laborious and over cautious as if they were facing Warne on a spinning track or McGrath on a green wicket. Pakistan won the toss, kept their wickets, and had the upper hand but the batsmen never asserted their authority. They played with constant apprehension and treated debutants like legends.
