It's a dead pitch and we cant expect their batsmen to gift away their wickets like ours did.

There was a hint of late swing in the last over Shoaib bowled plus Danish is spinning the ball as well. Once the ball gets a little older I think our bowlers will be able to take advatnage of it a little more then now. Right now the ball isnt doing a whole lot and the pitch is dead. England are flying away, their running between the wicket is awsome, something we can learn from and we need stop the run flow as well as try to get wickets. I think the best thing to do right now is go on the back foot, plug the gaps so we dont give away too many boundries and wait a few overs till the ball gets old and starts reversing and then maybe go back to attacking.

Multan has always been a dead track, it is a batting paradise and bowlers graveyard. It was'nt so much of good English bowling but poor selection of shots by t he Paki batsmen. This wicket requires batsmen to apply themselves, stay on the crease and wait for the bad ball. Nothing new, just typical test match cricket, which Pak batsmen find so boring thus their score coming mostly from boundaries.

For me it was mistake to play with this kind of Bowling attack.. Specially Sami and Shabbir both in...Both have not played for a while, only Kanny and Akhtar were on the cricket field for some time. some one else like Rana or even Mohd. Asif should have been included in the team..
any way. lets see what happens in the post lunch session.

Unimaginative field positioning, what plans exactly has bob woolmer cooked up? England had significantly different settings for every Pakistan batsman and it worked. Instead, we are making out of form batsmen like Bell come into form.
While Pakistanis were playing block block with the very ordinary England spinners, look at how English batsmen are coming forward and milking Kaneria for runs.
