Hundred when your side is 117/6 down and staring at an almost certain defeat & an early exit from the tournament means something no matter what the opposition. Umar Akmal single-handedly rescued Pakistan. Without his effort spinners would not even have come into the equation today.
Kapil Dev played a similar knock against ‘mighty’ Zimbabwe (ok minnows of his time) during the 1983 world cup. Without his effort India (77/6) would have most definitely lost that game!

I don’t think Fawad should be gambled in the all important pressure game against India. He is not match-fit. The law of averages says that Maqsood will come good against India!
